I went there to try to help a friend who's homeless and although they have little in line of programs to help the homeless they have a list of sources that will often try to help however all these resources have already been exhausted by this person.

They're probably the best example of the human services office I've ever seen. I've heard all the stories about long waits, stressed out social workers, and uncaring workers at these offices in other places, and nothing could be further from the truth in terms of this one. The people who work there are concerned, committed, clear, and caring. It's VERY efficient, there's no long waits. And everyone's extremely helpful. If you qualify for any kind of assistance, I urge you to use this office as a resource.
