The CHI 311 app no longer shows the results of the “requests” for health inspections. Now we have no idea if a “determination was made” or “letter sent to the owner/operator” . So why did Chicago remove this feature? Businesses did not like the fact that I was showing the screenshots? Business owners are embarrassed? So now we as consumers have no idea what the results were when we eat at these establishments? I’m sure this is the reason why this feature was removed. So now we can no longer trust City Hall because they work for the dirty business owners and landlords in this city not for us.

I went yesterday 4/6/26 between the hours of 1030am and 1130am To file for my veterans tax exempt application and to my surprise the process took less than 5min because normally it takes a couple of hours when it's crowded but the new system is so efficient and seamless I was amazed and grateful that they figured out a beautiful way to handle the process.....The young lady who was working there was so kind and helpful Thankyou!!!!!! Shout out to Miss Helen Frazier and staff!!!

I highly recommend Chicago City Hall for anyone looking to tie the knot in the city. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating—they allow photos pretty much everywhere inside, which is a huge plus for photographers and couples alike. A tip: come early! Lines can get long, especially on weekends. The best part is that you’re just a short walk from some of Chicago’s most iconic spots for post-ceremony photos. It’s truly a hidden gem for a downtown civil ceremony experience.

I stopped by City Hall to renew my driver’s license and was pleasantly surprised by the quick, courteous service—everyone was friendly and the lines moved fast. The building’s historic façade is stunning, and the bright holiday lights added a festive touch to the lobby. Parking was free and easy to find, making the whole visit a breeze.
