Seeing the pattern in the other reviews but got clocked while I was cruising with traffic and they claimed I was going 84 when I was definitely going mid 70s. Stupidly expensive ticket while being a single mom :/

I don't have cruise control and it is hard to keep a consistent speed because of that. Got a $316 ticket for going 14 over. Officer Williams was nice, but it was so straight forward without any chance of explanation. I guess guilty as charged. But this is EXPENSIVE.

A few days ago I was traveling from Chicago to Miami, passing through Georgia. The traffic was going 80 in a 70 speed limit, I was going 84. The officer wouldn't let me say a word. He handed me a ticket, explained that I had to appear in court and left. A fine of $313. Worst state I've ever been in, be careful when you drive, go 69 in a 70 speed limit. It is very unfair such a fine

Beware, their officers are always on the highways poaching tourists going to FL. Somehow, they will always clock you going 84 and write you a ticket for going 14 mph over. $300 ticket

Driving from Illinois to Florida through Georgia with the flow of traffic. Speed limit was 70, everyone was doing around 80. Officer pulled me over and claimed I was going 89, then “reduced” it to 14 over. Ended up paying almost $600 for 14 mph over and “license not in possession,” even though I have a valid Illinois driver license. From what I’ve read, most people in similar situations pay around $300 total, and Georgia law says the fine for not physically having your license with you should not exceed $10 if you have a valid license. The officer even wrote the wrong year and model of my car on the citation. And since I live in Illinois, hiring a lawyer or driving/flying back to Georgia would’ve cost me almost the same amount anyway. Honestly feels more like a trap for out-of-state drivers than actual traffic enforcement.
