4 people in my family have tested positive for covid. In our initial call I was told someone would be in touch daily...now being realistic I didn't expect a call daily, but once every couple days to check on us...yes. we did not receive any calls to follow up. The only time I heard from the county at all was when I requested to have the nurse paged so I could receive discharge letters for us. No one called, no one checked in to see if we needed anything or how we were doing. The after hours person was quite rude today when I called to ask to speak to someone as it is now 4pm and I hadn't heard from anyone yet today I am supposed to be discharged from isolation. The guy told me they had until the end of business, so of course I asked what time that was. He then stated, well we have a lot of calls and if you have already called we will get back to you. I proceeded to tell him I am supposed to be released today and just wanted clarification since no one contacted me. He finally paged someone. Not helpful at all when you have small children sick in addition to an entire family and being told they would be checking in to see if we needed supplies, food, or had any medical issues yet not one call!
