I'm so disappointed that I have to leave this review. Today my family was so disrespected during a wic appointment that we were told would take five minutes. At our last visit we were told that we wouldn't need to attend in person appointments anymore because my son has ADHD and it was too difficult. Which I was totally fine with. Needless to say that I was surprised when I was told I needed to come into the office to get his iron checked. So, when we went in today, my son wouldn't let us get his iron reading so we were told that we needed to have an in person appointment. After I explained the situation to her she went to get a manager. The manager was so rude and disrespectful. Didn't care that we were told we didn't need to have in person appointments. She had no compassion towards my son who was crying and just wanted to leave. So, I finally just left in tears because they weren't willing to work with us at all! So now I don't have any wic benefits! Such a horrible experience. I wish I would have got the managers name because she was the most cold hearted, inconsiderate person I've ever met. She is in the wrong profession.

Social services were back to arrest me again today! Unfortunately they completely dismiss all the calls that I’ve made about my mother and the help she needs. As she’s sick as all hell, and determined to get her way. These people have been here repeatedly, they’ve seen with their eyes that I’m being verbally as well as physically abused. I don’t press charges cause it’s my mother and she’s sick, but at what cost? These people are not interested in the truth. They’re out for #’s. Period. If I did not have HOURS of video evidence I would have been in jail. Imagine having a mentally ill mother who has hallucinations, and have to deal with these people accusing me of being a terrible person. After clearing my name repeatedly . My mother is a hoarder who needs help. You folks coming here and acting like I am the problem is getting absolutely insane.

I am sickened by the lack of compassion and the fact that you can deny a surgery that is needed for quality of life improvement because you think it is not necessary. But what if the shoe was reversed and it was you dealing with the pain, the weakness, he numbness that is getting worse by the day, but because you feel it is not severe it is not necessary. What constitutes severe? The more I deteriorate the more immobile I become. Not being able to stand for more than 10 minutes, or sit for more the 10 minutes or walk any distance except really to the bathroom I just don't understand how you think this is humane. You would think that you would want to help your members improve their quality of life instead of just pushing drugs upon drugs upon drugs in people. I am so deeply saddened by the lack of integrity, the lack of care and lack of compassion. Especially after years and years of dealing with this, years and years of physical therapy that has not been effective, failed medial branch blocks, failed radial frequency ablations, failed traction, failed chiropractic care, failed acupuncture. This is just horrible patient care

WIC has given my family healthy, nutritious, and helpful resources. I will be forever grateful for them even after our little one turns 5. They always call to remind us to take a class to keep our benefit active and send us notifications to remind us to use our remaining benefits at the end of the month. Thank you!
