I got sent to the ER by my family doctor because my blood pressure was very high (stroke level high)and it needed taken care of right away..I showed up in the ER and told them exactly why I was there and was taken to a room right away a very nice paramedic came in and started an IV and I sat there and waited answered the questions the nurse asked and then the doctor came in she started talking about all these test that she wanted ran and never once said anything about my blood pressure..she ordered an x-ray, ct scan, Covid test, ekg or eeg whichever one is for your heart among others that were nothing to do with my blood pressure then I got a lecture about my sleep study for sleep apnea and told I needed to lose 50 to 75 lbs then it might make a difference on if I need a cpap or not by that time I was over being there because nothing was being done and I could feel my blood pressure wasn't going down any...when I finally spoke up and told the doctor I was done being there after about an hour and a half after I arrived she decided to start giving me medication to slowly lower my blood pressure...in my opinion if you want to be insulted about your weight and not taken care of as soon as you get there then I wouldn't recommend going to this hospital or ER ...oh and my after visit summary the doctor lied and said I came in complaining of a sore throat which I never did
