I was really impressed with this department. I had lost my vaccination card and Fred and Deb were kind enough to have it replaced and sent to me promptly.

Spoke with a lady from here that was very nice but when i actually need to speak with her in a timely manner her voice message box is full and the office thats supposed to be open at 8 hasnt even opened until 9:30. Very disappointed, you would think a health department would be better ran.

The ladies that work at the desk in the Allen County Health Department in downtown Lima, Ohio are EXTREMELY rude! Not at the main desk, but at the desk where you order birth/death certificates. I understand that sometimes people can have a bad day, or something in their lives may be stressing them out, but this happens EVERY single time I go in there PLUS- if you're stressed or having a bad day, don't bring your attitude to work! Its not my fault that Chester dumped you last night so don't be a grouch to me!!

Check in was quick and easy. The providers were very knowledgeable in their professions and scope of practice. Candice the RN who saw me, the front desk lady who checked me in, the lady who sat in the entrance lobby, along with the other two ladies who saw me were immaculate. Very professional. This was the best doctor appointment I’ve ever had so far! They made it fun for me 😊

The staff there were all very friendly and understanding. They walked me through everything they did, and gave me a lot of educational materials. My nurse Candace in particular was really professional and kind.
