The Angelina clerk's office was the least helpful and charged a fee to do a search... the only office to do so. The records could not be searched online- nothing could be done online according to the staff person who assisted me. Staff at other county offices made a point of saying, We are here to help- that is why we are here." Does not appear to be the philosophy in Angelina County.
