The front desk security was very rude. Asked him where i could get clarification of what my name was since i have two variations on birth certificates, passports, license, etc. Instead of allowing me to get help he told me not here go to baltimore…? He then gave a number to call after i kept asking him if i could just get clarification on what my real name was. I went to the health center and a lady there told me i could clarification downstairs which i went to. There i was greeted very poorly and told before i could even ask for help to leave and go upstairs since the guard didn’t allow me to enter? He saw me walk in the front door i didn’t sneak down there i simply wanted to get the clarification that he clearly wasn’t helping me get. He is just on his phone with his headphones and laughing as we call the baltimore number which is very rude. i understand that this is a government job but you’d think peor ok would be nicer or atleast willing to help you and ask questions since not everyone understands

The hours on here are not accurate. Website says they close at 4:30. I showed up a little before 3:30 and was told: “We closed.” Also, online it says birth certificates are on a walk in basis, which is untrue. The employee at the front told me an appointment was required in order to obtain one. Obviously not the employees faults, rules are rules. However, it would be beneficial to find a replacement for whoever is in charge of updating their website/google page because clearly it is not being done. Come on down to the health department if you feel like wasting time and gas I guess.

UPDATE As of 9-14-21: I just returned from a trip to the immediate vicinity of 175 West Meadow Rd. Although the County states they provided a "free" rodent control program to residents - I have no idea what that entails because nothing was offered to my parents...this yard at 175 West Meadow is still the same, except that more garbage is present & the occupants have a new kitten that catches some of their rats. I also filed a complaint w/AA CO Planning & Zoning - this is the real culprit! Until the debris is permanently removed, the rats will continue to live under & in it. The residents & their compadres at this property live like rats, so no wonder the rats are there. It's quite a spectacle and a crying shame. Most of the residents on this block take pride in their yards & houses; unfortunately this house is close to our family. My old mother picks up their trash, dirty diapers, chicken bones, etc in front of her property every day. The children are learning how to litter at a very young age - unsupervised 2+- yrs in diapers running the sidewalk & street throwing trash. I will continue my endeavor w/the Co to clean this up. ---------------- Today I sent photos and reported a RAT Infestation to Anne Arundel Co Dept of Health via their website & over the phone. I sent photos of the RATS as well as the yard where the 100s of RATS burrow. HD Kellen H, Supervisor Housing Protection, immediately CLOSED my issue and stated "No rodent activity on this property." This is what you get when you pay taxes in AA County. This person should be ashamed of themselves and be fired!

The service is terrible. I'm visiting the Annapolis location, and the person working at the desk, a chubby white Latina girl, treats people very poorly. It's as if she were the one providing the children's healthcare resources. I'm realizing they do the same to most people, except no one has the time to complain or knows that there are superiors above each employee. It's outrageous that they treat people like this when they come to this location, not because they care, but because unfortunately, we don't have enough resources to cover insurance for our child, so I guess we have to put up with the mistreatment from these people. It's simply not fair that they play with our time. I had my appointment, but they changed my schedule. Then I came to correct my schedule, and after returning a third time on a different day, I was the first person to arrive, and the check-in computer wouldn't let me sign in. She simply sent me to sit down and waited on me after 3 more people had passed before me.

We arrived at the location with only 15 minutes left before closing time, and even so, they made sure to welcome us and provide outstanding service. We were treated extremely well, and the staff was very attentive and professional. Congratulations to everyone on the team!
