I actually enjoy going to courts/jury duty. This place has great architecture. What made this visit terrible was the police officer that was required to come out of the court to scream at everyone to be quiet. There's no reason for this, put up some soundproofing material, or move the lawyers and clients to a different floor.

The last remaining Mission Revival style courthouse in Texas. Going against the traditional European inspired courthouses that dot the vastly different landscapes of "small town Texas". This building is unique because of the circular road, instead of the traditional town square. The Alamo inspired parapets, the covered patios, the Spanish tile and brick and the circular footprint all make this a courthouse worth seeing...if courthouses are "your thing". I love this one because it is so unique and different than all the rest.
