Faxed my application for birth certificate copies and received a phone call within an hour. The clerk was professional, courteous and efficient. Glad to see customer care still exists in the world.

Sent a deed to be recorded twice. The second time it was sent via Fedex for tracking purposes and although it stated the package was delivered AND signed for, they could not locate the very sensitive document and check. After numerous calls and sending proof, they could not give me an answer as to where the package is located. I appreciate Ms. Petty contacting me herself because she did seem to try to help, however I cannot say the same about another lady I spoke to who I will not mention by name.

Mrs. Velma and Mrs. Susie in Vital Records were incredibly helpful and sweet. I moved to the PNW after an entire lifetime in Texas and it has been a difficult acclimation for me. I recently needed a copy of my birth certificate and called Bowie County. I was helped by two of the loveliest and most responsive women. They were knowledgeable and efficient and hearing those NE Texas accents along with their caring nature just about made me cry. My only complaint is that they made me a bit more homesick…lol.. Wonderful people. Thank you Velma and Susie! 💕
