Tell me you dont give a damn about people who are renters in Brunswick county . I have a rat /mouse issue and whoever is heading the “environmental “ part said they don’t help renters. I have it all on audio recording too. She basically said they only help ,nursing homes, business buildings or any other corporate entity that is affected by something i need help with,i.e. ,rat/mouse issue. Basically they only help people and or BUSINESSES WHO MAKE THEM MONEY thats affected by issues like this!! Im disabled with hiv AND i have a 16 year old autistic child i take care of! I will sue tf out of brunswick county for its deceptive and immoral stance on this!

I’m preparing to go overseas. I swung by this Health Department to get a tdap. The woman who checked me in was so kind and helpful. Really pleasant to work with. The RN who gave me my shoot was also kind, but lacked professionalism, did not inform me of any related side effects, was dressed in street clothes, did not explain to me what she asked me to sign, and did not want to sign/stamp my international vaccine yellow travel card, so I removed stars. Not to mention, while I was waiting for the RN to administrator the shot, her “work pal” was standing there asking me a million questions and having small talk with her colleague - very unprofessional and an invasion of privacy. Despite the subpar service from the RN, I would recommend this location because there was a very small wait time. My only suggestion is for this Health Department to retrain their nursing staff on the basics. Their staff is very relaxed and unprofessional as if you’re talking to someone on the street and not a licensed professional providing a service to a paying customer.

If I could a negative review I would. I understand being busy but when you charge people for a service you need to follow up, communicate and complete the service in a timely manner. It's disappointing!

The lack of following up and communication is crazy! Hire people who care about what they do and stand by their words. God forbid the employees were the customers. Then maybe they would know how to treat people. Or maybe not

My experience at the Brunswick County Health Clinic was nothing short of a divine intervention—truly God in human form! I came in feeling anxious about a health scare, but from the very first phone call, I was met with compassion and care. Crystal answered my questions with such grace and scheduled my appointment with ease. Her calm and reassuring demeanor was exactly what I needed. When I arrived, I was greeted by Julie, and I immediately let her know how nervous I was. She did everything she could to put me at ease, offering a smile, understanding, and genuine warmth that helped me feel safe and cared for—and not rushed, even though it was almost her lunch hour. A wonderful nurse took my vitals and was just as thoughtful to both me and my mother. It felt like every person I encountered was handpicked by God to remind me that great and genuine people are all around! I had prayed for God to place me in the path of amazing humans—and that prayer was answered. Crystal, especially, was a true beam of light in a tough moment. She shared helpful information, eased my fears, and made me feel supported every step of the way. Crystal and Julie, thank you for being angels here on Earth. The overall compassion, thoughtfulness, and professionalism blessed me more than you know. You gave me peace of mind during one of the most stressful times in my life, and for that, I am forever grateful. Thank you for putting patient care back in healthcare! God bless you all!
