I like their services. But they are always rushing you thru any calls. The weather was bad so I called to reschedule. She told me to just come in whenever I had a chance because it wasn’t a big check up for our wic, just an short class. Well, that was yesterday and now the office is closed and they failed to mention that if I didn’t come to the appointment I’d lose my benefits and now I’m sitting here stressing because I don’t have the money for formula until Monday. Customer service is horrible because they don’t give you the right info and they rush they all their phone calls. I love wic and I appreciate all its benefits: when the benefits work.

As a new resident to Oklahoma my first experience with BCHD was on 2/24/21 to recieve my first Covid 19 shot at the Choctaw Event Center. Coming from Dallas, I had already prepared myself for long lines, unorganized right hand not knowing what the left hand was doing and short, snappy tempers from staff having to deal with such large crowds of people. What I found was 100% different than what I had expected. We were met at the street by a gentleman who directed us where to park, we were met at the entrance to the building by several friendly staff members who directed us into the building, we were then greeted by a pleasant receptionist who confirmed our appt and checked our ID, we were then escorted to a seat to await check in paperwork and after that we were escorted to the medical professionals who administered our shot and then sat for 15 minutes to ensure there was no adverse reaction to the shot and then we were free to leave. Our total time from parking the car to returning to the car was 30 minutes. Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly and professional and the process was streamlined to perfection. Stellar is the best description of our experience with BCHD. Thank you to all who made the experience so wonderful and to the Choctaws for providing such a beautiful and comfortable facility.

Waited nearly 2 hours for shots. I would have loved to have made an appointment but was told they don’t do appointments. The most fraustrating thing was to read signs that says they are work on a “first come first serve basis”, yet I watched 3 other groups of people go before me (so much for “FIRST COME FIRST SERVE”). Most of the staff was friendly except one particular employee who needs church and a refresher course in customer service. If you don’t HAVE to come here, DONT!

Just had an awful experience, 2 lady’s working, no other people, one set there, she said we’ll be with you in a , and didn’t help my kid. Someone else walked in, and I waited on them. We out here with bawling kids and they in there acting like they short staffed and we the only car. The parking lot is empty. Why can’t people have some compassion In this world especially IF YOU WORK A DESK! You have no idea what people have been through that come in your office so don’t show your gum too hard while you tell him to have a seat. Point being she waited forever for something that took two seconds because the other lady working there couldn’t say can I help you or you know yada yada they just they just she’s a 19 year-old girl and they just don’t care. I don’t know if they’re doing job for a day, but maybe they need to switch positions. I used to work customer service and I always help peopleW ability if I needed a break I took it. I didn’t treat somebody bad or make them white unnecessarily so I can chew my gum longer. These young kids won’t speak up and it’s awful. They get mistreated all the time because they’re young and they don’t know their rights and stuff. I’ll never understand people who work at a desk and treat people bad. Go get another job. Maybe it was a bad day for the people as a desk hence this review. Maybe you had something going on in your life we sure had something going on in our life just be more considerate of people and I we are sure trying.

I have been going here for years for testing and this morning attempted to walk in for testing services they advertise and the rude short woman at the desk spoke to me like I was stupid and provided ZERO helpful information other than they can only schedule appointments and the next one was more than a MONTH out. She seemed thrilled to have to give me bad news and also acted as if I was the stupid one for asking questions. If this is how employees of a state run facility behave when someone asks about the services they advertise they offer then they should be shut down.
