I've been desperately trying to get mental health help for years through CHD because they're one of the only options available that take my insurance. The last 2 counselors I've had through CHD in the last 4 years have ghosted me. The one my husband had ghosted him. So that's 3 counselors from CHD that have completely dropped both my husband and I when we needed help. And every time I've tried to call them in the last year they just hang up on me. CHD, get it together. People need help and they should be able to reach out and have you ACTUALLY be reliable. If someone can't get the help you claim to provide and you do this, then them killing themselves is 100% your fault. Either close down or actually do your jobs.

While I have had some less than ideal experiences with trying to get mental health services here, most of my interactions with CHD have been with the lovely people who do their public health/immunization services. I've been working through a needle phobia and the nicest people I've ever gotten shots from are here! Very kind, patient, and non-judgemental. I would recommend that people of any age who are bad with needles go here for their vaccinations.
