  This place is wonderful. I took my autistic son here to get his shots and the test done to enroll him in school, the lady who asked all the questions, took his weight and height was AMAZING. She does wonders with autistic kids. He never even cried which was a first. Thank you so much ❤️

  Just wanted to share a dental experience at the Whitfield County Health Department.🦷 The appointment was scheduled for 10:00, we arrive at the office, he goes inside to do his appointment while I wait in the car. About 20 minutes pass, he comes back inside and says "My appointment isn't until 12:00". I'm like "They didnt send a confirmation email or text message to confirm?" Nope. Whatever, he swears it was 10:00, but we go into town, do some stuff, and we come back at 12:00. He goes inside and tells them again about his appointment. Mind you, each time he's letting them know his name + reason he's there [for a pulled tooth!]. So, they give him paperwork, he notices this isn't normal paperwork for dental work, so he goes up to the front desk lady and asks if she's sure this is what he's suppose to be filling out, she reassures him. So he fills it out, gives it to her, then they tell him to go "pee in a cup" Huh?? 🤔He's confused, but does it anyway because she confirmed before was what he's supposed to be doing. He finishes, gives them the test, then someone takes him into a room and starts asking him questions, one including "So what's making you get an STD test today?" HUH? He's like "that's not what I'm here for, I told them I'm here for pulling a tooth" Uh-oh, guess they made a mistake, you'd think they would fix it right? Eventually this place contacts the dental place next to them and says that they have him here and their like "Oh he already missed his appointment. We currently don't have anyone to pull a tooth right now" Okok now it's getting frustrating. They make us come back AT 2:00. 🙄That's 3 different times now. So we sit there, it's 1:15 or so that he finally comes back to the car AFTER all of that took over an hour for them to figure out they got the wrong patients mixed up! So, he goes inside at 2:00, at this point, our entire morning was ruined. So, I told him to ask for some sort of discount or something. Anyways, they couldn't even pull his tooth, BUT still charged him full price for an x-ray. (He already got an x-ray done at another dentist, but I get if you can't use information from another dentist, understandable.) So he asks for a discount, their response? "You're lucky we even still seen you today." 😬😬Omg the unprofessional remark? Anyways, he asked what they did with all his information and pee in a cup and the lady said "Their trying to get rid of it" and some other things amongst the line of hey we know what we did was wrong but we're trying to cover it up. SMH. Anyways, 0/5 stars for this place. As someone whose worked customer service for 7 years, when you, as a business, makes a mistake, usually you try to fix it, apologize and offer something to fix the solution besides a lousy "sorry". 🙃

  Made appointment for a pap.smear pacificly and when arrived at appointment it was refused to be given a pap smear even though I was being paid for . So I wouldn't go to this office they don't c a re about anyone's health just a few missly dollars someone throws into their pocket instead

  Drove a friend to her appointment last week to renew her MM card (low thc oil registry). We made the drive from Rome (well over an hour with traffic and some confusing back roads, although beautiful and scenic). We were running late but the staff there were all extremely pleasant. We were in and out within about 30 minutes tops! We found all the staff friendly and competent, and the facilities themselves were very clean and actually quite beautiful. Thank you for a very pleasant experience!
