I went to the Colfax County Clerks Office to pick up forms for a Name Change and they turned me away stating they do not do Name Changes there. I looked it up several times on my computer and it states specifically that I should file a name change with the County Clerks office in the county where I live, which is Colfax County. I just dont understand this at all!
