The lady at the front desk was the most rude I’ve ever seen a town office clerk. I hope her boss sees the video tapes on how rude and unprofessional she was being. I came in to set up an appointment with a property appraiser, after she refused to do so when my grandfather came in yesterday so I came in today for with him, and soon after I started talking and explaining what I was there for, she put her hand up ✋ and said “stop”. From there I got irritated because she wouldn’t answer my questions and she stormed out of the room. She eventually came back and was nicer because she must have know what she did was wrong. I hope she gets a talking to and that she’s not being that rude to everyone. I was there helping my grandfather and she talked down to me saying “I’m not sure if you’re from this state, but here we do…”. Just absolutely terrible service coming from a public worker. I only hope this comment doesn’t disrupt her doing her job which she should have done yesterday when my grandfather came in alone to do it and she refused. If I don’t hear back from the appraiser guy, I’ll know she saw this comment and just refused to do her job because she didn’t like how someone called her out for her BS.

Exceptional Service at the Enfield Town Clerk's Office My wife and I recently had to renew our boat registration after the State's renewal letter never arrived.
