I had a terrible experience here. I was having some issues with my newborn daughter's insurance (initially set up with the wrong effective date, big mess), so I went ahead and made her an appointment at the health department to get her shots instead of going through the doctor's office. She was almost nine weeks old when we went. They refused to give her her shots because she was born on 07/30 and it was 09/29. According to them, I would have to wait one more day. Again, she had been two months old for five days when we went. The woman who scheduled the appointment in the first place did not see fit to tell me that. Moreover, they couldn't fit me in the next day, and the first available appointment was October 11. Meanwhile, my child does not have her vaccinations and is susceptible to all manner of horrible illnesses. The woman I spoke to was not apologetic or sympathetic at all. She did not seem to care about my wasted time and effort or the fact that my baby is being put at risk. I will never go back here again if I can help it. Hoping baby's insurance is ironed out and we can get in to see the doctor in timely manner!

Very displeased. Had a telehealth appt set 2 weeks ago for the 9th at 2pm. Tried calling today 12 times no answer. Finally got an answer, only for a super nice lady to tell me to call back in 30 minutes they were in a meeting. Called back in 30 minutes, got told they were at a grand opening for the new building and they had rescheduled me for the 14th. I was not told about my appt being rescheduled, and thank God it was a telehealth and not an in person appt cause I’m out of state for work and if I had to drive 6 hours for an appt to be told it was rescheduled I would have been irate.

I set an appointment yesterday for 1:45PM today to come in. I took a lunch break to get a simple urine, and blood screening. They told me that I have 3 people ahead of me, and that they are short staffed. Appointments are no good here, and DO NOT think you will be out with in an hour you don’t have enough time on your lunch break to do this. Now I am stuck at the train because I wasn’t informed of them being short staffed.
