When there are issues regarding property tax you can’t ever reach a person or get a call back. Frustrating especially when you need answers to tax issues

None of the hours are correct tax collectors never call back no matter how many messages you leave. They want your payments to be late so you have to pay interest. The first 2 years in Franklin they double charged me on all my taxes then denied it. They’re only there once a week for 2 hours to collect taxes. If you leave a check in the box outside , they’ll say they never got it. the clerks office never picks up even though they’re there all day never returns messages. This place is pathetic. I filled out my declaration last year and it only came out to a few dollars so they took it upon themselves to assess my personal property without even going to my property. They said there was $9000 worth of personal property. These people are thieves!!
