We got married and had the unfortunate situation of having the paperwork done by the Mayfield clerks office. Called us a few weeks after turning in the papers and said that the clerk that printed the paperwork did it on the wrong side of the paper so the holes were on the wrong side so they needed all the paperwork done again and all the signatures obtained again because they couldn't file it... Had to go back there and get the paperwork again while of course dealing with the long wait times and rude staff all over. Terrible to deal with and incompetent.

The Graves County Clerk's office is supposed to be open until 4:30pm today. The doors are locked as of 3:45pm, and I cannot get anyone to answer the phone. A recorded message confirms that they're open until 4:30pm, but gives no explanation for why they're closed.

Very nice people but DO NOT take your phone in there. Servie was fast, pleasant, and organized.

Spoke with Kim Gills and… wow. Rude, impatient, and clearly bothered that I dared to call with a question. If rolling her eyes could be heard through the phone, I’m sure I would’ve caught it. If you hate dealing with people, maybe don’t work in public service?
