Staff Extremely rude. I have never been in a medical facility and been treated this poorly I understand it's a free clinic but we are people to. Waiting over an hour and a half to be treated while being talk to poorly. Only for them to take the first 10 people then say they were full. Absolutely horrible experience and would not recommend. Wish Gregg Co had better options.

Can't get them to answer the phone hardly at all. They would not send records to my child's school upon my request, so I had to leave work to get them. They shut down for lunch instead of staggering employees lunch hours. They also have no lines or ticket numbers. Just a lobby where everyone sits and fights for the next spot in line. The business is ran terribly, and makes it really inconvenient for the people trying to come here. Update: when I finally got up to the window they told me they were too busy to give me my daughter's shot records, and that id have to come back the following day to get them.

Excellent health department. STD testing is provided at no cost, and the staff are professional and very kind.

About a month ago, I went to the Gregg County Health Department to receive vaccinations needed for college. The first time I visited, the lady at the check-in window was very kind. We had to wait for a significant amount of time despite being the first one to arrive once the shot clinic opened. However, the lady at the check-in window was very apologetic about our wait time. A month has gone by and it's time for me to receive a second dose on one of my vaccinations. Despite arriving on-time or early for the shot clinic several times, I have been turned away. I understand they can only take a certain number of people, but I think they need to reevaluate their clinic to accommodate the needs of the indigent population seeking vaccines. EDIT: I was able to receive my second dose from their shot clinic. However, I had to arrive almost two hours early to ensure I was first in line. Also, there is no sign-in sheet to secure your spot before they open. You have to speak up and rely on the integrity of other people not to cut before you. Very disorganized, and again witnessed many people being turned away because the clinic claimed to be too full only after accepting a few people.

This place is great to come to fir your children's shots or to get yourself tested for sexual diseases.. They are fast and friendly and their staff knows how to use their inside voice when relaying personal information.
