Absolutely amazing! Every encounter with staff was more then pleasant. I was expecting staff to be stiff since it was the health department. They were all more then kind! Of course my son wasn’t happy about vaccines but I think he will forever remember how kind and sweet the nurse was to him. Recommend 1000%!

Unprofessional, dishonest, and just plain awful. This clinic gave my 75-year-old grandma vaccines that were supposed to be free, then billed her for an “admin” fee they never mentioned. Later, we got another bill in the mail saying she hadn’t paid. When my mom went in to ask about it, the admin manager Julie Freda took her documents and refused to give them back. I had to go pick up my sick grandma and bring her in myself, and even then they refused to release her medical records. They kept saying I didn’t have permission to speak for her — even though she was right there and doesn’t speak English. When I asked what form I needed to sign, I got lied to and told to get a notarized letter (which wasn’t true). After almost two hours, they finally handed me the simple form I’d been asking for the whole time. The staff, especially Julie and Cindy, were rude and totally unhelpful. It felt like they were just trying to avoid taking responsibility. The whole issue was over a tiny bill I could’ve paid right away if someone had just explained it. Instead, we got lied to, ignored, and treated horribly. Do better!! Elderly patients deserve respect — not this nonsense.

Absolutely terrible , terrible miscommunication. Almost had my son out of formula because of them . He has a milk allergy and is on special formula and can’t be found in stores . Also the waiting time to go there to be seen is so slow. Just a horrible place wic . Annoying to deal with

I have had a few bad experiences here in the past sometimes the people helping you make all the difference. When you come in to any doctors office or health care place the staff support makes all the difference. This most recent time I went (today) EVERYONE was so kind and helpful. Specifically Natalie the nurse was sooo kind and understanding. With all the uncomfortable questions she has to ask I feel so secure talking to her and being honest. It’s so nice to feel seen as human and cared for by her when I come in. That’s exactly how all nurses should be

Came here on a day that they were supposed to be open. It is 1:00. There is nobody here to assist. I need a simple request to get my documents sent to me and there is not a single person here for the Florida health department. Yet these are hours that they are supposed to be open. If they’re on lunch, that should be publicly posted on the website. They do not have all of your requested immunization records available on the app. They do not respond to emails, just unprofessional all around. I will also let it be known that I waited 40 minutes because I needed my immunization papers which I already attempted to contact about multiple times. Nobody ever came to the window. I wonder when health departments will start to be more professional? Why does every single employee go on lunch break at the same time instead of people taking turns? This is an entire city with 200,000 people and they cannot do us the honor of being truthful about hours and availability. I do not recommend anyone drive here without a confirmed appointment on the phone. You will be lucky if you even get one because again…. They have a lack of employees and are unprofessional. Anywho. Have a blessed one guys!
