I think this is a vastly underrated facility. I have gone here three times and found knowledgeable staff, courteous personnel, and a great deal of compassionate care. While I wouldn't normally recommend a public health department, this one is quite exceptional. I would not hesitate to go again.

They were friendly and fast. I had to get my birth certificate and I got it the next day. Easy as can be.

My OB recommended this service and I am SO thankful she did! The nurses here are insanely knowledgeable and kind! I was paired with Sarah Jane and she has been incredibly helpful and actually cares about you! She's helping me prepare to welcome my first child and I couldn't be happier. My anxiety is melting away! With so many complications I have, Sarah has been knowledgeable and accommodating. I can breathe again!

Definitely ask what your out-of-pocket cost will be after insurance before you leave. They will tell you it’s nothing when you leave, but then you’ll get an invoice five months later that you can’t read because it’s just code numbers they put on there. They need to itemize that.

Now with Clinical Hours on Wednesdays from 2-4pm. STI testing and treatment, Suboxone sign-ups, wound care and general health related advice. The needle exchange here Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 2-4pm. Saves an enormous amount of money and saves countless lives. Washington only loses 1 out of a 100 overdoses. Nationally the average is 2 out of 100 dies. Because of this service and incredible first responders in Washington, we save more lives. Remember, an opioid visit to the ER averages $97,000 dollars. The staff have some issues with incredible exceptions that understand the issues, are passionate about saving lives, embrace harm reduction, and do amazing outreach.
