The people here were very nice and helpful! I came to get a marriage license and the process went smoothly. Every time I called to ask a question they answered quickly and helped me. I’m so glad I went here instead of Calhoun County’s office in Marshall.

This is a great office. Birth certificate the same day, if you're born here.

A public service business should be open to the public to conduct business with the public during normal 8-5 business hours. Covid restrictions have been lifted for several months, yet the building was locked and closed up at 2:30 pm on a Friday. I have a legal right to be given access to my own records, yet there is no way to schedule an appointment nor is there a way to enter the building. Another person who arrived right behind me took the afternoon off of work to get their records taken care of, and now they will have to take more time in an attempt to maybe catch them open.

It’s the governments, so I want to give them one star….but parking was easy and free. Building was secure and clean and the lady that helped me get the birth certificate was helpful and nice enough.
