From dismal and deteriorating interior to a pushy and infuriating staff; it would be wise to avoid this place like the plague. I was supposed to receive a meningitis shot from my doctor's office until he told me they don't carry the specific brand that I required (that's right, The A MEDICAL PRACTICE simply doesn't carry a brand of shot) so they sent me to this hellscape. I called to receive only my meningitis shot but upon arriving there it was as if I was at a car dealership with workers trying to sell me every vaccine known to man. I had made it very clear that I only needed the meningitis but that didn't stop them. One old hag (who looks like she should be five years past retirement) implored me to take a hepatitis and my third Covid vaccine. I obliged just to get her to stop pestering me but I asked her if sticking all these needles in my one after another would be healthy. I guess it's on me for listening to someone who looks like they lived through the Great Depression but she convinced me I'd be fine. Less than twenty-four hours later I had every side effect known to man. Never once happened before after I'd taken a vaccine, but then again, every time before that I had only take one like a sane person would do. As if that wasn't enough, when I was leaving the lady at the reception desk tried to set up another appointment for me and claimed I would soon need another bogus shot. After that experience, having to handle any sickness would be much more preferable than dealing with those infernal, suffocating, pushy, snobby, wretched "doctors" again.

Refused to give my son a tetanus vaccine because we didn’t make a separate appointment to go see a pcm first. The fact that they had the medicine and staff there to help my son but refused to is beyond belief.

Lapeer county, you are one of 7 counties in michigan yet to start taking appointments / administering the vaccine. It's NOT easy to find updates on your website. Vaccine info should be the home page! But "don't call us". Your newsletter talks about still testing your appointment forms. What have you been doing for the past 9 months? I would rate zero stars if I could. Abhorrent leadership

I was wondering why Lapeer county don't spray for mosquitoes they do in Oakland county at night and they do the whole county for mosquitoes. They are carrying everything nowadays. They're tearing us up around Northern Lapeer county. I can't even take my dog out without him getting swarmed by mosquitoes at night and in the daytime as Well. Please do something for us Thank you, Misti Fuson

Edith Baker, in answering my request for the location of the septic tank on a lot under my care, did a tremendous job. She was able to quickly and accurately locate information and within 20 minutes sent me not only an image of the license but also a sketch of the exact location of the entire septic field including the tank! The amount of time this will save in the location of the tank will allow the needed repairs to be done much more easily to say the least. She was the personification of professionalism and experience and has left me extremely impressed with the employees of the Lapeer County Health Department.
