They do not answer the telephone. If you have the great fortune of getting through the answering system (which usually leads you back to the same menu), nobody will pick up the telephone. Very disappointing and poor service, especially when most needed during a pandemic.

They will give you an appointment at 1pm only to call you till 3pm. Expect to be here a couple of hours, especially if you go for a program like family planning, la familia, or even to renew!

Todays date 12-03-2021 came in for a copy of my immunizations, whoever the lady is in the front wasn’t very attentive. When I approached the window, she just pressed her speaker , picked up her eye brows and never said anything just kept making eye contact for me. As for that, when I told her why I was coming in, she told me to go back outside and stand behind the line where the potential covid vaccine takers are standing, even tho I’m not here for that reason. Her other staff member had address to me before if I wanted a copy of my card, that I was standing in the wrong line. And now the lady is telling me to go to the back of the line. At the end to make things short, I told her why? If her own coworker who is managing lines outside told me not to wait there. And she sighed heavily and told me to give her my ID card and to wait .

Poor service worse clinic person giving the appointment ask for proof of birth certificate to verify if I was the father of my daughter even though I gave first hand my Texas driving license and the passport card of my daughter. thank goodness the office of the certificate is just across the hallway.this I call discrimination on my part this happened today 02/15/2023 .

I am so grateful for the wonderful service at the Laredo Health Department. My children recently moved here from Vietnam, and the staff went above and beyond to meticulously translate and transfer all previous vaccination records into the Texas immunization system (the Yellow Card). It was a complicated task that required a lot of patience and attention to detail, but they handled it with such professionalism and kindness. Thank you for making our transition so much easier and for taking great care of my children. Highly recommended for all families. Thank you so much!
