Staff is great. Some policies, not so much. Can't make an appointment for nurse-only visits - even shots that need to be taken on a schedule. Nurse-only visits also cost you in your co-pay on your insurance. Wait times when you don't have an appointment are very long... so you see the problem here...

I just got home from getting my COVID vaccine shot. The Lawrence & Douglas County Health Department is to be congratulated for the highly efficient AND CARING job they did. I was planning on spending a long time in line. I was in and out in just about 30 minutes counting the 15 I spent in the recovery area. Even after spending eight-plus hours on their feet, everyone was still cheerful, friendly, and polite. Thank you

This outfit won't tell you they aren't in your insurance's network and you'll get charged $126.20 for a flu and covid shots, a charge I've never had to pay EVER. Not a happy camper.

Phone calls are not returned. They practice 'Surprise Billing" coming up with charges that were never billed initially and may be one year old. One of the desk workers wears excessive face jewelry and it can be difficult to look at her, especially if you have had surgery on your nose. County needs to supervise.

Very fast, efficient, and friendly! I was directed to come here for my tb test and the staff was very nice. I got into my appointment within the time I scheduled and had a pleasant time. I did the online check in beforehand.
