It’s really hard to get a hold of them. They usually never answer their phone.

I use Luna County public health services on a regular basis'. They just recently changed building so I expected an element of confusion. Generally speaking there is a learning curve to all significant change. I am pleasantly surprised. I want to also introduce one of those seemingly unimportant divisions I like to counsel on. My rescue dog goes everywhere with me. The AC is on, dog has gone potty and has food and water. The sunshields are up so he is safe and comfortable. I complete very easy paperwork available in Spanish and English. The lobby is pristine well lit with a great flow, simultaneously a person is getting formula. The bathroom is like new clean. The staff is protected by cough/spatter shield. The air handlers did a nice job in keeping the building comfortable and the ppm of any virus well exchanged. I didn't as about filtration but it is reasonable to assume it is required. The staff is all bright and bubbly helpful yet proficient and professional. The I am welcomed in promptly where I receive excellent care. My perspective is that of a retired critical care nurse/charge nurse. I am not an easy evaluator. When I originally got back one of the first things I heard was, "I understand you have your dog in the car. We will get you through as quick as we can. They provided all the necessary services to include a masterful job on teaching. I love dogs. The compassionate communication coupled with excellent care and attitudes that can't help but lighten up your day brings out a thank you for your service. The confusion I expected was non existent. If I could give 6 stars I would. If I had to suggest one area for consideration would be a cost benefit analysis on UV light use for pathogen control (full disclosure it is possible that it is a part of HVAC system. It is also possible that they are taking extra caution for the infants.) Nothing can be perfect. To give a balanced review one must find some area for improvement. The facility is clean, humble with excellent through flow. I received excellent care, compassionate communication and informed and easy to understand teaching plus the compassion concern for my dog far outshine UV lights , pun intended.
