Corrupt judges per small claims court that don’t listen to both sides fairly with but show favoritism to lawyers then individuals who represent themselves. Judge was looking for easiest way to dismiss case rather than hear the facts. Stay away from doing business in this county to avoid dealing with its judges.

Everyone was greeted and helped as the lady (shoulder length strawberry blonde hair) kept looking at me and walking right past me. She was making small talk with a woman and her little boy after helping them then after about 10 mins finally walked over to me without a greeting of any kind and in a very unfriendly manner grabbed my form and said "I need your ID and it's twenty dollars!". She walked off and printed my son's birth certificate then came back and set it down and walked off without another word not even a you're welcome after I said thank you. Clearly she was able of kindness as I watched her give it to others there but for some reason she decided only some people get good service. Nice.

I believe her name was Amy but not 100% site. I called Madison County Circuit Clerks office and she was short, rude, and gave me wrong information. I also feel like they've favored my ex who is $10k behind in child support. He was contacted via phone and mail for upcoming hearings and I didn't get either. I've had to jump thru hoops to get answers I need and everyone acts like I am bothering them with my questions. They also act like I should know exactly how to navigate everything. Going thru divorce and child support is bad enough, why can't these people be kind and helpful to try to make it easier

I needed a certified copy of my marriage license from another state. The employees were wonderful and within minutes printed off the info I needed and told me what I needed to do. So proud of our court house employees because I was at a loss what to do.
