!!!Anthony Montwheeler 2.0 situation here!!! So disappointed in this county justice system. In the end of a long domestic violence court process; feel that Malheur country did not hold my abuser accountable. My safety was disregarded while he (to this day) continues on repeat to break laws there, and is a very high risk to the community. Yet the court continues to be dismissive. The significance of his clear history of ongoing abuse /law breaking is not recognized, and have done nothing to prevent it from happening again. If you are a victim of DV in this county, it is my experience that they will side with the perpetrater. Most victims will not call police for this exact reason.

I have been in a few courthouses in my life and been summoned for jury duty but in my opinion this county has one of the better and more fare judicial systems. Since I've moved to Oregon all of the county, city and state officials have been very helpful and acomidating. I believe that Malheur county has a very fare legal system from what I've encountered. I'm very happy with my choice to move to Oregon the nice little town I now reside in.

I guess in Ontario Oregon, you can stalk someone and rob them of all their belongings and only get two years probation and nine days work crew! Thanks Malheur County for all your efforts lol over $10,000 worth of property and multiple violations of a stalking order and that’s the best you could do? Stay safe people it’s up to you. No one really has your back in the court system! They never returned my calls. I never heard from the prosecuting attorney once! Called multiple times no callback, I didn’t even know that he took a deal. They don’t communicate at all. They think you should know their job and yours!

Beware in this county they pull you over for no reason impound your vehicle nd put you on probation for no reason and then when your case is dismissed won't give you any help to get your vehicle out of impound charging more than the vehicle is worth the county doesn't follow its own state laws

Whatever you do don’t let Rene at Denison Law, P.C. represent you she’ll say “ there’s no audio or video footage” and get you the crappiest deal, won’t fight for your rights or the constitution and she’s been reported to the state bar multiple times I don’t even know how’s she is still employed.
