Great experience. Called a few weeks ahead and got an appointment no problem. We are from out of state and Brian helped us, quick and easy.

I called to inquire about obtaining a marriage license and was immediately asked about which county I resided in. After responding that I was a resident of Orange County, the staff very curtly/rudely stated that they will not issue me a marriage license, without any further explanation or elaboration. Based on this interaction I could only assume the Mariposa county clerk’s office to be selfishly guarding services that we all pitch in for. Perhaps someone needs to inform them of intergovernmental transfers and federal/state funding? Very disappointing, because Kings, Merced, and Madera county offices were all very friendly and helpful when I called them.

They don't know what they're dojng there. I always have to come up from Fresno to file Bureau of Land Management mining claim location notices because they don't understand how these location notices work! I wish people would just do their job. Just RECORD my DOCUMENTS! THANK YOU!
