OMG!! I HAVE THE SAME SITUATION This courthouse is suspending my driving rights and ordering me to repay a ticket that was paid in JANUARY!!! Now I am forced to pay an additional $50 suspension fee added on to a $200 fine.

This courthouse is suspending my driving rights and ordering me to repay a ticket that was paid in MAY!!! I was never even issued a notice stating that my license would be suspended, mind you I’m from out of state I don’t even own a Georgia License.The money order was issued to this courthouse and cashed!!! Now I am forced to pay an additional $50 suspension fee added on to a $200 fine. Please avoid driving in this area (McIntosh County/ Darien, Georgia) nothing but money scamming, thieving pigs!

Paid speeding tix I got on I-95, only to receive a notice from the state of GA months later my out of state license was suspended in GA and needed to pay to reinstate my license and pay Super Speeder Fee! Spoke to Lisa in Darien, Ga from the court clerks office who explained everything to me. She let me vent, and I really appreciated it. So I paid the county for a speeding tix, but the state hitches another fee-not included in the initial ticket. UGH!! Hey Lisa, thanks for your patience and understanding!

The staff was super, incredibly nice. I called twice before showing up to count, and both times they were kind, informative, and reassuring. The process was a little long getting started, but they were efficient. The judge was caring and put you at ease while waiting. I left amazed at the results of the arraignment- caring and understanding staff. Be sure to take any documents and take an online defensive driving course to offset court costs. I only have positive words to express about the staff from the front door, office, and court. It was worth the 3-1/2 the drive.
