Mckean County Pennsylvania Community Health Nurse Amanda who said she is a Registered nurse was completely inappropriate! I asked her if there was a way she could find out when we could expect lab results back for a rabies test on our kitten. I also explained how we have been bitten and scratched by this animal not thinking it could have rabies as well as other animals and let her know that it’s pretty important so we can be vaccinated at soon as possible She Laughed at me, She laughed because something must have been funny about my life and my children’s that she thought it was appropriate to laugh. I deserve an apology but especially my daughter who was in the car listening to her laugh on speaker phone. I’m also a registered nurse as well and I would be embarrassed to be her co worker. She is very immature to laugh directly at someone who is worried that if their kitten was infected that this could be deadly to their family. I can only imagine if she thought that was professional how she must treat people when no one is watching.
