I started seeing Nurse Marla Holland right after a stay at Tennova for diabetes. Everything was fine until this past November, when all of a sudden, she decided not to show up on the day I was supposed to see her for a checkup and to get my meds refilled. This happened THREE times in a row. Every time I was rescheduled to see her, my appointment was canceled due to her not coming to work that day. I can understand an emergency where she didn't plan on not coming to see me, but THREE TIMES IN A ROW??? That's just ridiculous. I am no longer seeing her and had to find another provider. I will NOT be coming back.

Some reviews scared me but at least on the day I went, I was able to come at 7:30 and be done by 9:00, not much different than a typical doctor's office

Came here to pick up some covid 19 tests. As of now, I was able to get 3 take home tests. Not sure the limit per household. A website was given to register for additional tests for future use. No waiting around.

During our visit, the Vital Records employee named Trina interacted with my sister in a hostile, dismissive, and unprofessional manner once it became clear that English was not her first language and that I was translating for her. Her tone, body language, and responses were condescending, and legitimate questions were brushed off rather than explained. The manner in which Trina spoke and behaved came across as unnecessarily catty and immature, which is not appropriate for a public-facing government role. In addition to this initial conduct, Trina later discussed our situation with other coworkers within our view and earshot. This appeared to be gossip rather than a professional consultation. Following this, there was a noticeable shift in how other staff members interacted with us, and we were treated differently, with less courtesy and assistance. Discussing a patron’s situation with coworkers in front of the public is inappropriate and unprofessional, particularly in a government office that handles sensitive records. This behavior created an uncomfortable environment and added stress to an already difficult process. As the translator present for the entire interaction, it was clear that my friend was not afforded patience, respect, or equitable treatment. Public agencies are obligated to provide services without discrimination and to ensure staff conduct themselves professionally at all times. This interaction failed to meet those standards. I respectfully request that this incident be reviewed and that appropriate corrective steps be taken, including staff training on professionalism, confidentiality, and language access.
