This is literally one of the worst places I have ever lived in my life If I had a time machine I would not go back and change the rough neighborhood that I grew up in it would be to not move here The first experience which was not the last was when I went for a job and they told me I couldn't have the job not because I wasn't qualified literally told me to my face it was because they did not hire my kind this was a local even design company right in the heart of the town even design company right in the heart of the town had ano usether family tell us we should not allow our daughter to hang around with a young girl in the town when I asked why they told me they were different I didn't get it finally the wife said they're poor is it that you believe because they don't have $100 bills or $1,000 bills stuffed in their pillows so they feel all warm and fuzzy that they are not good people not everybody in the world bases how they feel about another people on the color of their skin or how big their bank accounts are or at the end of their life if they get the line their casket with $100 bills The money you have can buy you a boat can buy you a house but it can't buy morals this can't be bought has to be earned so I hate to bare the bad news you folks could never have this My last experience was after years of going back and forth with my landlord I decided to go to the code enforcement when I did this I did not realize they were friends for years and years he passed the house some of the pictures I have and more post where of the day he came after he left I had two separate inspection reports done which were totally different than his Raw sewage under the hole 16 1/2 ft of one side of the house didn't have a catalytic beam support a plug outside running one half of the house was having water leak into it black mold issues that was October in January I went to go grab a towel out of the bathroom and ended up going through the floor of the home now let you know in October I inform the landlord that for the second time since 2019 The floor was unsafe again he never showed up to fix it in February for the second time the heat stopped working in the home this time I did not call the landlord so he could bring a friend I called Easton propane thank you Eastern propane The technician said he had a red tag the furnace because the area around the furnace was not safe The furnace was ready to go through the floor he could not comment on why in October the code enforcement seen this and in December the landlord's HVAC friend seen this and nobody read tagged it he did say when he left he was going to the fight apartment with his report The homeless condemned I just have to wonder if in October the code enforcement decided instead of doing his friend a favor and doing his job that he gets paid for by the way I wouldn't went through the floor and we would have known about the raw sewage under the home in the 16 and 1/2 ft of the catalytic beam was just laying on ground in the crawl space The only person in the six years we live there that was underneath at home was the landlord or we would have known about the fact that in 2017 when the microburst hit and the landlord came over and did some electrical work in the panel box which I still have the text messages for and he was not licensed and I don't know if it's my mistake or incompetence he put wires into the scene sockets or outlets my inspection report said and it was causing arching double tapping wiring which could cause a fire If this gentleman opened that box when I complained about electrical issues in October the code enforcement officer he would have seen this and we would have known that we were living in a powder keg I really don't want somebody else to get hurt how many other favors has he done for friends of his in this town pictures don't lie this man makes a paycheck to do this job but yet he made a choice to endanger my family for his friend I tried to get meeting with the selectmen and was ignored. Who else has to be hurt because they want to protect their friends
