I'm am writing this review in hopes the county gets better staff. I have had so many problems recording documents in this county. When they don't know what they're doing (which happens a lot), they make it our problem to figure out the solution, and then bring them the solution (so they don't have to work).... Please get staff that are there to do their job, not make their customers do their job for them.

She is able to look up just about any historic document if you have basic clues to work with, such as file numbers, document numbers, page or book numbers.

MIRANDA at the recorder office is awesome !! she is able to look up just about any historic document if you have basic clues to work with, such as file numbers, document numbers, page or book numbers. these files can go back for over one hundred years in some cases. i'd give a full 5 stars, if the other employees at the recorder office were just as helpful. some of them yell at you over the phone for asking too many questions... that's not cool as many residents need to find out property & water rights to keep themselves out of any state or ndwr trouble. the more information openly available to residents, the better !!
