Pretty useless, actually. What do women visit the health department for? Birth control. Thank goodness the nurse practitioner is only here -some- Thursdays and is always booked, right? This is why abortions happen.

I am a nurse with Oklahoma Heart Hospitals. I request a hard copy of a recent COVID (positive) of a patient for Dr. Derek Norman. I was told they had called OKC to get the results and they would not have a copy before Monday. No one tells you their name, obviously because they are rude and not helpful to sick patients. We are all busy, but a patient needs antibodies and can't get them due to no hard copy. Very displeased. I wouldn't even give the young lady that answered the phone a 1 or the person that told her no hard copy until Monday, not that the patient hasn't already waited 4 days for results. This is ridiculous. We will not send our patients there for testing ever again. Thank you

My husband and I made an appointment and received our first COVID-19 vaccination on Tuesday January 12, 2021 at the McAlester SE Expo Center. What a wonderful experience! This was one of the most organized and efficient events we have ever participated in. This has to be the “Gold Standard” for this organization! Every aspect of this organization, from the nicest beautiful young lady that greeted us at the door and checked us in, then directed us to the next individual taking our info to the wonderful nurse giving the vaccination to the most helpful individuals in the 15 minute waiting area to see if we had any negative reaction to the vaccine to the nice individuals at the exit doors. I keep mentioning the word nice because everyone was so nice! How did you find so many nice, efficient, outstanding organized individuals in one place?!!! A film ought to be made of this organized event to be used as the “Gold Standard” for every Health Department in the nation. All these folks need medals, a big raise for the terrific job they do! We appreciate you and thank you!

Front desk clerks are rude! Save yourself the trouble and go to Latimer County instead.
