This is the slowest court there is I'm on the 3rd floor and the order of things is sooooo backwards. They call cases all over the place instead of going in order. No COVID precautions in place or nthg. The judicial system at it's worst. When they finally get to your name if it's plea case you get pushed back to wait longer. This court is a joke for real and the residents of Pope County needs to get out and vote for better officials

Everyone in this courthouse is rude and unhelpful. They are snobby and unintelligent, they speak completely improper and unprofessionally. They are also unempathetic. It’s completely ridiculous for me to say, “have a great day” and get hung up on in mid sentence after you’ve been nice the whole call, while they are being rude! Zero stars!!!!

This was the second time I'd been to this courthouse in the last two years, both visits driven by family business. This time we were in town filing updated deeds on family land. Last time was looking up land plat data. In both cases, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. They are very organized and efficient, and we had no issues getting done what we need to do.

With metal detectors, I’m giving a one star rating. I’d understand having metal detectors at the court room, but entering the court house is not right. We all have to go through the metal detectors now, but are employees and Law Enforcement forced as well? They already have plexiglass at all business locations and now metal detectors. Be it known, huge Government disconnect and they don’t trust Pope County citizens anymore.
