Very hard to get ahold of the person that handles my case, I've called twice and left two messages and have yet to hear back.

The Powhatan response to domestic violence is far superior to what I experienced in Chesterfield.

Keep fighting for these children! Y’all have made such a big impact on my family & very positive one that has gone years of not being noticed, have done more for us than chesterfield has ever done!!! Took action & your main focus was keeping children safe & y’all did just that. Each & everyone who was on our case thank yall from the bottom of my heart because without yall there would be no end to mental or physical abuse!!! Yall are angels & so is Powhatan sheriffs office keep up the strong work, diligence, & driven for safer environments for our children!!! God bless yall & love & light that will always shine y’all’s way to help those little ones in need because it’s very time sensitive!!! No amount of words can even express in all honestly. 🙏❤️ State of Virginia seriously needs to take notes & need to be trained on how well y’all handle these types of cases & take it into serious consideration to spread awareness that’s from DSS, judiciary system, & sheriffs other officers as well could learn so much by working with y’all & hope this happens because this is a major problem in Virginia & other states - kids don’t have to be black & blue to see warning signs it’s also their mental health & mental abuse can often be worse on a child!!!!! - Megan K.
