I've called for weeks to try to reach someone regarding a speeding ticket we received while travelling across the country. They NEVER answer the phone. They do not respond to email. I haven't tried their fax machine yet, perhaps I'll hop in my time machine and try that out. If I had money I would be suing them. After mailing in my request for Defensive Driving, it took more than a month before I received any correspondence back, and that is from the Shawnee Community College Driver's Safety Program. They require you to finish the DD within 120 days of the issuance of the citation, however they are incapable of delivering relevant information in a timely manner. I don't know who actually works for this organization as I have never spoken to anyone, however any taxpayers in this unfortunate county should be APPALLED at this ridiculous situation and protest in the street. Worst County Circuit Clerk's office I've ever had the misfortune of having to communicate with. Or attempting to anyway.

I have a suspended license for a ticket in this county, they're supposed to send a compliance order within 20 business days,I called bc it still hasn't happened and was told the have until oct, 4th to send it,I don't know why they would wait until the last day they had to do it,but guess what? It still isn't done!!! My lively hood depends on this and they're too lazy to do they're jobs.

Honestly was presently surprised of everyone at this courthouse after reading the negative reviews about this place..I had my trial it went well. The judge was fair listened to both sides and found me not guilty!! Molly is very helpful who works at the office even the prosecutor was nice. Everyone in the courthouse that day was friendly and helpful. I won my case so it was worth appearing in court for. My hope is that some of the police they've hired are little nicer and more professional when doing their job and pulling people over.

One dirty little town & County. Major Speed Trap in a fake construction zone on Interstate #57. 302 people in court today for the same construction zone violations. Average cost was $900 fine. A real racket going for a very economically depressed city & county. The most corrupt situation I have ever personally witnessed. Extremely rude people in the courthouse starting with the so called cop in the parking lot. My advice. Stay away from this corrupt little village & so called county.

Pulaski County, IL is running a straight-up scam on I-57. The so-called “construction zone” speed trap has been there forever and magically becomes heavily enforced whenever they need revenue. This was a mail-in ticket, I sent my payment exactly as instructed, and they later claimed they never received it. Convenient. To make the problem go away, I was forced to pay $824 to have it reduced to a non-moving violation. No hearing, no accountability, just pay up or deal with collections and threats. This has absolutely nothing to do with public safety and everything to do with squeezing money out of drivers especially people from out of state who don’t have the time or resources to fight it. Minimal signage, aggressive enforcement, scripted officers, and a system designed so you lose no matter what. When a county’s solution to “lost payments” is simply demanding more money, that tells you everything you need to know. This place feels corrupt, predatory, and shameless. Have some dignity and get a real job to support your family and to develop your so filthy poor community. Stop preying on hard working Americans.
