Could definitely use a update needs a complete remodel immediately not enough seating in hallway by courtroom everything is outdated , courtrooms look dated old and smell musty , elevators are small and cramped , bathrooms although basically clean everything in there looked to be from 1800 and old unpleasant and unwelcoming, comissary at front has good food and nice staff but needs a updqte as wellbut the nice staff at comissary is the only reason I gave it 2 stars it deserves one .

My family just adopted a sweet girl forever into our family and although it was a wonderful event on it's own, every person we came in contact with made it even nicer. The security guard at the entrance was efficent and was talkitive and made our kids comfortable going through the security scanner. The elevator operators were friendly and funny! The judge and the others who handled our family's adoption were so kind and encouraging and truly seemed grateful and excited for us. Maybe it was the happy event or the Christmas cheer in the air, but our experience here was joyful. Thank you Rapides Parish for being so pleasant for our special occasion.
