I have never had a bad experience with the clerk's office. Yes they have a lot of volume and I have had to come back because I didn't have something I needed. But, I have also had some complicated things that needed un-squirreling. Don't forget that if you just need renewing, the drive up is the deal. I used to work for the government and get it, some people just hate dealing with anything regulatory. But the RC Clerk's people didn't invent the system and are people too. I'm not a super touchy feely person and don't like to wait in queue at all, but having done the public employee thing I know that when we are the other side of the desk, we have no clue what the other person is going through. So, I try not to act like they exist to make my life easier. I think they do a pretty efficient job.

My daughter and i went to renew a car tag. Amy was the employee that assisted us. She was so very nice and friendly as well as helpful. Thank you Amy for such a pleasant visit!

Let's be honest, getting your tags renewed or title printed is not the most exciting thing. So generally most are not in the best mood standing in line. That being said, I think these public servants do an excellent job. I've been coming to the same location for many many years and as long as I bring what is required I have 0 issues. The people are usually friendly and courteous as long as they receive the same courtesy in return. To the workers - thank you.

I called this morning needing a question answered about tags. I was very kind and mannered. The lady who answered me on the other hand. Borderline aggressive and rude. No manners. Besides her robot intro and outro that she has to do. Told me over the phone that I did not need anything besides my license to do an address change.i ask if a photos ok get no response. I get in there and lo and behold a customer makes a rude comment to me no one points it out. Then get up there and it turns out I do need a physical copy of my license to change my address to somewhere else in the same county. Frustrating is an understatement don’t work with people if you don’t know how to act baby this is the south we have manners.

I have been here twice since moving to Tennessee to title a vehicle. They open up right at 8 am and the staff was happy, friendly, and ready to go! They answer your questions and are very polite. I liked both the ladies who helped me with the car title. The first one noticed tge seller forgot to sign. She double checked to make sure everything else was I order I left and came back with it signed a few days later and same great service. If you come early they get you through fast! Went in at 8:00 and was out 6 minutes later.
