I had an excellent experience with Jack from the health department – he was so kind and helpful! Also, Melissa was incredibly informative and explained everything perfectly. I wish I could give them more than five stars!

Some of the staff here are sloppy with details and communication. I was staying at an Airbnb for only a couple of days when another short-term guest apparently had TB. He arrived Monday night, and by Thursday morning I was already getting calls from the health department. I was told exposure could go back “3 months” and that the entire “household” should be tested, even though this was not a household, it was short-term lodging with separate rooms, more like a hotel rather than a permanent residence. When I explained the short overlap and that I never even interacted with the person, the staff still repeated the same script. This caused unnecessary stress, and even independent sources confirmed the risk was under 5%. The department should tailor its recommendations better for temporary travel lodging situations instead of assuming all addresses are households. Experiences like this are exactly why people lose trust in public officials and in America’s broken healthcare system.

Really clean and quite, the staff here is super nice and helpful, it helps if you come prepared to get what you are looking for

Clean facility, but lacking direction and instruction. Post flyers or have employees sit at the glass counters instead of behind the gray walls. Also, I sensed that no employee wanted to be there.

Couldn't make an appointment because no one answered the phone. I called several times and waited a long time. A recording just repeats itself. So I went in with my son who needs the immunization, and was turned away because they don't accept walk-ins after a certain time. It was well before closing time and there were only 3 other people in sight... not very busy at all. The time that walk-ins are not accepted should be posted up on the wall so that people can see it before they wait in two lines like we did. Waste of time and we still don't have the immunizations completed.
