Claudia the receptionist was extremely rude to my wife over the phone looking for a prenatal care doctor. Could barely understand what she was saying and said we have no chance at getting prenatal care. Had an attitude during the whole call and seemed like she had no interest in helping whatsoever. Definitely hope if you’re calling this department you don’t get her. Terrible experience.

Got my A1C and glucose tested for free at local library. Marilee provided instant results and provided helpful insights on managing and maintaining a healthy lifestyle including glucose management. Great program at a great location!

Hi everybody, I was there for a drug test… I was believing to get… Eventually they don’t do that… (It has nothing to do with OUR HEALTH… Idk… what do I know?!) Anyway… I was helped by the Full of Beauty… ADMINistrator LADY… For real… I’ve happened to ask HER in the parking lot… about information. So 4 stars ✨ I guess is going to… Our “Department of Health “… Safety first…⛑️🛟🦺🧯👷♂️🥽 THYME 🍃

Stumbled into the library and found free A1C screenings today. Met Cathy and Merilee from Health in Motion and they were wonderful. So glad I know my number and I learned SO MUCH!

I would like to extend my appreciation to Florida Health Sarasota County for offering free A1C testing, glucose testing, blood pressure testing and cholesterol screenings at the Selby Public Library. I would also like to commend Nurse Marilee Ehresman’s professionalism and dedication as a senior community health nurse. She has taken her time to explain each test result and ways to improve healthy living. The service that Florida Health offers is so necessary and appreciated by so many people who perhaps either lack the means to afford private testing. Nurse Marilee has been informative, compassionate and such a wealth of knowledge.I can’t recommend this service enough. She probably is responsible for preventing a diagnosis of diabetes for me but making me aware of healthy choices that I can make for myself which would be fairly easy to incorporate into my life. For this, I am extremely grateful. I hope you continue to offer this needed service for our community.
