Marilou is the best! I travel an hour to see her since she took a position in Kewanee, leaving Monmouth Cottage Clinic several years ago.

Marylou genuinely cares she wants to help people she's easy to talk to she makes you feel like a person. She listens and talks to you not at you she's very knowledgeable and I'm glad I found her.

I have Home Makers from the Health Department. They all are very helpful, polite. Helping me with cleaning, cooking, personal care, shopping, ect. They treat you like a real person not a object. When I call there I speak to Jill and she is very nice and they go out of their way to find you the perfect Homemaker.

I highly recommend MaryLou Johnson! MaryLou is down to earth and makes you feel like you are talking to a close friend. She takes her time with you and actually listens to everything you have to say. She relates to you and your situation whether it is something simple or in depth. She is very knowledgeable and don't sit and go through your chart while you are speaking with her, never makes you feel rushed or in a hurry for her next appointment... She even reminded me of something I had briefly questioned her about at a previous visit that had slipped my mind to touch base with her on. The level of compassion, caring and attentiveness MaryLou gives you as a person greatly exceeds the rest by far.... She has an amazing staff of healthcare workers, from check-in down to the nurses that come in the room before her that also treat you as a real person and not just the next patient. I am grateful to have found MaryLou Johnson and can't say enough good things about her and her staff!

The homemakers work so hard and I really appreciate them but they're treated so horribly and it breaks my heart. And I think Missy? I believe her name is needs to take an HR course because clearly she doesn't know how to talk to people! My word! I've never spoken to such a rude bitter lady before. I'll be telling all my friends and family not to use this place.
