I had questions about my name change while I was turning documents in at the podium. The woman whose desk is about 15’ directly back from the podium was insanely rude. I was attempting to ask simple questions to ensure I had all of the paperwork I needed, LegalZoom said I needed specific documents, and when I called the probate court they said I needed additional documents. Her answers were repeatedly “did you call? Did you call?” She said they can’t answer any of my questions, which if I call on the phone and can answer my questions, why can’t you answer if i am in front of you? I said I needed to know how much the check needed to be written out for as I don’t recall hearing the number on the phone and she then responded “did you call?” Another guy to the right of the podium finally answered that question for me. That woman is a joke, no wonder government jobs are made fun of so consistently for being a joke.

I would warn anyone who would think they could call in and have someone help with their questions... I tried doing so today and the woman on the other line was so very quick to be rude and berating... I said “You know what, nevermind. Have a nice day.” And hung up the phone. The office is open as long as you wear a mask and they take you temperature. I apologize to the kind people who work there for my low review, but perhaps it will influence whom they let answer the phones... her bad attitude was completely unnecessary. I sped up to the office and handled my affairs, but I just wanted to ask a few harmless questions. Kindness counts! Sadly, you can expect it from everyone.

I called today to ask about documents available online that were marked unavailable from the magistrates office and she kept saying confidential, which not what it was saying online. I expect that it had to do with my mother and a guardian abusing her estate but it was like I was bothering her. I hate to say this but she was a stereotypical government employee. My tax dollars at waste, way too complacent in their positions. worse experience ever.
