Best county office I’ve ever visited. I’m visited Summit Co several times for tagging a car, paying property taxes, having a quit claim deed filed and for asking question about property lines to the assessor. All offices were exceptionally prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The building has lots of cool historic photos about which are fun to check out while you’re there.

we were never told how to obtain a license. our officiant was helping us a week before our wedding. she recommended trying here even though they ask for appointments three weeks. we called and they were able to fit us in last minute. it was a breeze. we walked in 15 mins earlier and got it done. signed the book and all. We are out of staters too. It was the easiest smooth process and the women up front was super nice and friendly !

Went in for a marriage license, came out all smiles! Stephanie was the most kind and thoughtful and did not make any assumptions. She walked us through the whole process and gave us information to take home in case we needed to contact the team in the future. Could not have made this process more simple!

Walked out very happy. The ladies working inside were so nice and helping. All were so welcoming, informative, and helped us if we had any questions. Super simple quick and easy process to get your marriage license here. I would highly recommend this place if you’re getting married anywhere in the Colorado mountains! Plus this office is in Breckenridge, which in itself is a beautiful town.

We picked up our marriage license here and it was a breeze! We booked an appointment online and printed out the application to complete ahead of time. When we arrived we handed in the paper and they pointed out a book they had that you could sign for fun. All of the workers were very helpful. We were given our marriage license with a copy of the instructions that they went through with us. When we dropped it off it was also very simple and quick. Would recommend!
