April 2021 Although not required for my upcoming flight out of Atlanta, I scheduled a molecular PCR COVID test at the Health Department. For peace of mind. Just in case. I began 4-24-2021, at the West Central Health Department website, looking for the most convenient location within the 72 hours prior to departure parameter. On the website, I signed up myself and my teenage daughter. I got an email with confirmation, as did my daughter. At scheduled day & time we drove to Talbot County Hearth Department. It is located just beyond the schools, with plenty of signage so you know you are at the correct place. I do not have cellphone to call when I arrive, like the sign says. There was no line. Throughout the whole procedure I stayed in vehicle. A Health Department lady in blue protective gear came out to check me in. After confirming my appointment and my identity, she went inside for my test stuff. The lady in protective gear came back out with test kit and paperwork. She explained procedure and observed and advised beginning to end. She handed me my paperwork and explained how to get my results. Then she repeated everything a second time for my daughter on the passenger side of vehicle. Our results were available at the time she said. I printed results to bring with us to airport, if/ when needed on our upcoming journey.
