Wife had Dr Orlando Fresca examine it and went ahead to make several slices to relieve infection. With a shot of morphine that had no effect, preceded to poke at it to get it so sore it put her in emince pain. He said at last she would need a surgeon that can't be seen till monday. Without out pain relief prescribed to her. Yes there is an opioid crisis this has nothing to do with this. We are in an era that the doctors are so scared to give pain relief it's something that scars a patient for future visits.. If the government is so worried about it they need to assign an agent to every hospital so people can get relief when needed.Very angry this morning as for Tazewell hospital it's not a place for people in pain it's for animals and I still think it should stay away from them also.. Orlando Fernando Fresca you are an awful dr and should withdrawal yourself from the practice immediately..

The health department let us down. My child was bitten in the face by a dog and unfortunately for my husband and I we had to report it to them. Someone lied to the courts to cover for the owners of the dog which resulted in nothing being done to the animal. The animal had not had any shots in two years and I was told by multiple health department employees that as long as they got the shot after the incident it was fine. A rabies shot is not active for 28 days after being administered. This did not protect my 2 year old from being exposed to rabies. Shame on them. If this dog bites again the blame is on them the situation should of been taken care of. All we ask is for the dog to be euthanized so it couldn’t happen again. My taxes help pay the paychecks of these so called public officials but I wonder if they even really care about the people they are supposed to help.Im ashamed of how they covered up a serious situation with a lie to protect someone they knew. SHAME on tazewell county health department

I have spoken to Tazewell County Health Dept 7 times in the past 2 days and all 7 times I have been lied to. I have made an appt for important medication that I have taken since I was 14 years old. I have called to see if they could refill one of the prescription for 30 days until my appt.. All 7 calls that i have made, they have told me they have sent it in and it was taken care of. I have contacted my pharmacy and they still have not received the order they have told me they’ve put in 7 times now…
