Frankly it's disgusting what they are charging for permitting fees. It went from around $60 to $280. When asked about their exorbitant pricing, they informed me they had a 3rd party come in to assess their pricing (extremely odd coming from the city...it's not a business, it's a public service). They said they try to remain comparable with other cities, however there is no city that is even remotely close to charging the outlandish fees Flower Mound is charging. If you're a homeowner, write to your officials and express disappointment in their decision to price gouge, especially at a time when people are struggling to make a living, only to have to factor this into the cost of making necessary and already expensive home repairs. If you're a contractor you're either going to have to make the decision to stop doing business in FM, or explain to customers why they are paying extra because the city wanted to supplement their pockets. Ask for a breakdown of where this money is going, as it is public knowledge. Hold them accountable.

Lovely green and gold Texas sized 🌳. I like the options to pay bill online, by check, dropbox in-person. I didn't like the online view your bill with Adobe Acrobat. Well, I'm no fan of Adobe Acrobat's new charges & I just want to see & pay my bill the old fashioned way. On the other hand, I would've miss that majestic Christmas Tree in the lobby of the Town Hall.
